Private or public conflicts in companies and organisations can affect the work routine and damage productivity and the working atmosphere to a considerable amount. This can lead to a drop in motivation and work performance, a higher rate of illness and, in the case of disputes being taken to court or leading to dismissals, it can be very taxing, both financially and mentally. Through the introduction of a third neutral person, a structured mediation procedure or structured conflict moderation within a team can be a quick and effective way of easing tensions, resolving disputes and developing new perspectives through cooperation.
